Diploma in Advertising Design (A7366)
Introduction

Advertising Design is as old as civilization and has long been used as the means of communicating in the society. Advertising is an ever changing process representing new products, services, supplies and demands, including a new media and techniques for communicating the ever changing situation. Advertising tends to represent the economic progress of societies, and in this respect it ranges from the sophistication of the industrialized world to the new life-style of developing nations.

Course Features

The course is structured with a complete range of subjects including Advertising Principles, Marketing Research and Media Planning. These subjects will theoretically educate students to advertising practices in international standard agencies and firms. Additional tutorials, workshops and seminars will allow the graduates to firmly position themselves in the industry with basic experience of advertising execution. The structure of the course will mold the graduates to the ever-changing park of the advertising ball game.

Prospects
After graduation, students can choose to acquire a degree from America, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, China or Taiwan Universities through credit transfer within 8 months to 2 years. However, if they prefer working, their qualifications and training will be sufficient to help them obtain a job in the various Advertising Design or Design related companies.

 

Admission Requirements

  • UEC certificate with at least 3 credits.
  • SPM certificate with at least a pass in Malay Language and 3 credits.
  • Other equal qualification.

Fees

  • The tuition and miscellaneous fees are RM21,800.00 for the whole course calculated on the basis of a total of 91 credits.
  • Fees and miscellaneous charges are payable in January, April and August each year.
