Introduction
The course emphasizes both marketing theory and practice. Students are expected to learn the basic marketing principles; customer behavior, marketing planning and decision making process during the course. The aim is to build students’ confidence in the job market or for further studies in the related fields.

Objectives

  • To provide students with an in-depth knowledge of commerce.
  • To design courses with emphasis on practical application so that students will be able to adapt to the job market in the industrial and commercial sectors.
  • To establish close ties with foreign universities so that students will be able to further their studies through credit transfer programmes.
  • To assist students in developing the skills, aptitudes, attitudes and expertise necessary to comprehend and cope with, the challenging complexities currently faced in the world of business and industry today.

Prospects
After graduation, students can serve in any industrial or commercial sectors; they can also further their studies for higher degrees in foreign universities through credit transfer.

Admission Requirements

  • Certificate of Unified Examination (UEC) for the Chinese Independent Secondary School (Senior Middle Level) with 3 credits
  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and 3 credits
  • Any other equivalents
  • Priorities will be given to applications with good academic performance at English and Mathematics

Fees

  • The tuition and miscellaneous fees are RM17,800.00 for the whole course calculated on the basis of a total of 92 credits.
  • Fees and miscellaneous charges are payable in January, April and August each year.
  • Additional credits will be charged on the basis of RM160.00 for each credit.
